We're back in America after spending most of the year exploring foreign recipes for chocolate goodies. With Halloween just over, here is a little something we're certain you'll find to be a treat.

Directions Grease and flour bread pan. Preheat oven to 350 F. Gradually add sugar to margarine; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and blend in eggs; beat well at low speed. Mix dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients, alternating with pumpkin and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and 1/4 cup nuts. Spread in pan and add rest of nuts on top. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes; let cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan. Let stand for about 1/2 day to give the ingredients time to permeate. Refrigerate, tastes best when refrigerated.
