The August'99 Recipe of the Month Quick Homemade Rocky Road Thanks to Linda Goslar, of Bellevue Ohio who submitted. This one was a hit in the office!
Ingredients 1 bag chocolate chips 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 cup nuts of your choice (skinned peanuts, walnuts, or pecans are best) 1 cup mini marshmallows 1 Tblsp vanilla 1/2 cup raisins (optional)   Directions In a pan, slowly melt chocolate chips. When melted, quickly stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Remove from heat. Stir until blended well. Quickly add all other ingredients, stir until evenly mixed, but not until marshmallows melt. Pour it into a 9" x 13" cake pan, with waxed paper on the bottom. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan with a spatula. Cover pan with waxed paper, refrigerate over night. After the candy is set and cold, cut into squares. This candy takes only minutes to make, and it is a hit for all occasions, and holidays. You can leave it set out in cool weather, or refrigerate in hot weather. Yummy!!!!! (confirmed by -Mike) Enjoy!
