The May '99 Recipe of the Month Ice Box Cake Here's a contribution from Jessica Gordon who says: "This is delicious. This is a tradition in my family. We make it every Christmas, Thanksgiving and birthdays." This is an easy recipe, even Mike could make this one!
Ingredients 4 quarts of sweet cream (depending how much you want to make) 2 boxes of plain chocolate cookies( or more depending how much you want to make or how chocolatey you want it) 1/2 cup- 1 cup of sugar(depending how sweet you like the cream) Directions Mix the sugar and the cream and whip the cream until it is fluffy. Take out a large rectangular (glass or ceramic) cooking pan. Smooth the whipped cream on the bottom of the cooking pan. Then put the chocolate cookies on top. Then cover the cookies with whip cream and again cover with cookies. Do this until it gets to the top of the pan. The Whip cream should be the last thing on top. For decoration, crumble the cookies on top. Then Put in refrigerator for a couple of hours. Enjoy!
