You'll Need
- Hard-Boiled Eggs, peeled and sliced (not too thick)
- Good quality dark, bittersweet or semisweet chocolate (in bars, not chunks and not chips)
- Toast points, Ritz ™ Crackers, or crustless white bread cut into quarters
- Your favorite jam, not too sweet, such as raspberry, pomegranate, currant, or sweet/hot pepper jelly
Directions
- Place crackers, toast points, or trimmed quarters of a slice of white bread on the preparation plate or cutting board.
- For as many crackers etc, as you have, place a one-inch square bit of dark chocolate on the cracker, top with a slice of egg, and top the egg with a quarter teaspoon of jam dropped onto it artfully.
- It's very pretty, in fact, once prepared and placed on the serving tray. Serve with iced tea, cola, coffee, or even beer.

You'll be surprised at how popular these will be with your family, friends and guests.
Enjoy!
