Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies
This recipe is a creation from one of our readers Nathan, who also recommends melted
chocolate frosting as a quick glaze, if you are in a hurry to eat these brownies. Have
fun, this makes very dark and rich brownies.

Ingredients
|
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cups butter
- 3 cups white flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 3/4 cups baking cocoa
- 2 cups chocolate chips
For the Topping
- Topping:
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter (melted)
- 1 1/2 cups additional chocolate chips (melted)
- 1 3/4 cups peanut butter chips (melted)

Directions

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease and flour bottom and sides of a 9x13 baking pan.
- Mix all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl, and mix well for 2 minutes.
- Add the chocolate chips last, as you would for cookies. Mix just to combine.
- Pour into greased and floured 9x13 baking pan.
- Mix peanut butter and peanut butter chips and chocolate chips, and drizzle over top of brownies.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
- Let cool 10 min.

Makes approximately 24 slightly larger than 2"x2" square brownies
