The October Puzzle

Traditional help is hard to come by in a tight job market. To help us gear up for the busy fall season we recruited several individuals for short term positions. They completed their assigned tasks admirably but they all had a unique characteristic, that made them stand out from the regular staff.

From the following clues determine their names, which departments they worked in, how long their assignments were, and what made them stand out.

  • Bonita's purple hair turned heads the first day she arrived.

  • The girl who helped out in Sales was fond of her army boots.

  • The Stetson hat has was worn by the girl who worked seven days.

  • Colleen worked for six days.

  • Ginger worked in the warehouse.

  • Shipping needed their temporary employee for five days.

  • Sophia worked two days longer then the person who worked in Marketing and neither wore Grateful Dead T-shirts.

  • Rebecca worked longer than the girl who had a stud in her tongue.

Here are the things you need to match.

Person: Rebecca, Ginger, Sophia, Colleen, Bonita

Uniqueness: Stud in tongue, Purple hair, Army boots, Grateful Dead T-shirts, Stetson hat

Department: Accounting, Shipping, Marketing, Warehouse, Sales

Work Duration: four days, five days, six days, seven days, eight days

Finished? Email us the answers, along with your name, address and phone number.

Each person who submits the correct answer will be entered in the drawing for the October chocolate prize. The winner will be selected at the beginning of November. In order to send the winner his/her prize, please submit your address along with your answer.

Good Luck!
