The June 99 Puzzle

The staff at the Chocoholic.com factory outlet had a busy day last Friday, dealing with customers who were buying chocolates for various occasions. During their lunch break the sales staff discussed some of the noteworthy customers of the day.

From the following clues determine the name of the sales person and the customer they served, what the customer bought and what the occasion was.

  • Tom found out about all the planning that goes into preparing a formal dinner but not from Carolyn O'Connor or Eunice Bellbottom.

  • The woman who sold her customer the assorted chocolates, who was not Sandy, was impressed by the Bon Voyage Party.

  • Priscilla made up a wonderful box of truffles for her customer.

  • Henrietta who was served by John did not purchase the chocolate sauce.

  • Glenda told her salesperson all about her niece who she was going to visit at the hospital.

  • Carolyn bought a box of pralines which she is taking to her niece's graduation.

Here are the things you need to match.

Sales Staff: Priscilla, Francine, John, Sandy, Tom

Customers: Francis Smith, Carolyn O'Connor, Henrietta Fry, Glenda Briggs, Eunice Bellbottom

Chocolates: Chews, Pralines, Truffles, Assorted Chocolates, Chocolate Sauces

Occasion: Formal Dinner, Bon Voyage party, Hospital visit, Award, Graduation
