The May 99 Puzzle

Along with other neighboring businesses, Chocoholic.com sponsors local teens in a bowling league. The "Chocos" compete against the other teams every Wednesday night in a tournament. In addition to the weekly tournament, each team has one assigned day to practice. Competition is very keen, since the top scorer of each team gets a special prize at the of the season from their corporate sponsor.

From the following clues determine which team practices which night and the first and last name of the top scorer (so far) of each team.

  • Jeff is the top scorer of the Plungers.

  • Robinson's team practices on Tuesdays.

  • Kevin Grandion's team does not practice on Mondays

  • Simpson plays for the Pepperonis.

  • Fridays is when the Nails practice, which is not the night Carol plays.

  • Sandy's team practices on Saturdays.

  • Hughes' team practices the night after the SixPax.

  • Willet is not on the Chocos team.

Here are the things you need to match.

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Teams: Plungers, Chocos, SixPax, Nails, Pepperonis

Top Scorer's First Name: Jeff, Carol, Kevin, Ronda, Sandy

Top Scorer's Last Name: Willet, Robinson, Grandion, Hughes, Simpson

Finished? Email us the answers, along with your name, address and phone number.

Each person who submits the correct answer will be entered in the drawing for the May chocolate prize. The winner will be selected at the beginning of June. In order to send the winner his/her prize, please submit your address along with your answer.
