The March Puzzle

A number of Chocoholic.com employees are very active in the local theater. Recently they put on an original play called "Chocolate is Forever" written by one of them.

From the following clues determine the names of the employees, the department they work in, the name of the character they played and the role of that character.

  • John the Product manager who is a quiet person by nature, played a loud and boisterous character.

  • The person who works in Shipping played Vinnie.

  • The stage-name of the employee from Marketing who played the Chef, did not begin with "H"

  • The real name of the actor who played the Butler has an even number of letters but his stage-name did not.

  • Mark, whose stage-name was Herbert does not work in Customer Service.

  • The real name of Robertson, who is the merchant, alphabetically precedes that of of Nathanel but follows that of the Mayor.

Employee: Arthur, Ernest, Gerald, John, Mark

Department: Shipping, Accounting, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service

Stage Name: Harold, Herbert, Nathanel, Robertson, Vinnie

Role: Merchant, Mayor, Chef, Reporter, Butler
